Former Governor George Pataki Endorses Jackie Auringer for Congress

KINGSTON, NY, October 5, 2026 — Former New York Governor George Pataki today endorsed Jackie Auringer for Congress, praising her deep ties to the Hudson Valley, her understanding of the challenges facing businesses, and her commitment to putting people ahead of politics.

“New York needs a new generation of leaders who are connected to their communities, know how jobs are created, and believe public service means putting people ahead of politics,” said Governor Pataki.

He added, “Jackie Auringer is deeply connected to the Hudson Valley and the people who call it home. Coming from a family business, she understands firsthand the challenges businesses face every day from rising costs and taxes to unnecessary government red tape.

Auringer said Pataki’s 12 years as governor demonstrated the kind of practical, people-first leadership she believes is needed in Washington.
