Meet Jackie Mary
Auringer
Affordability. Accountability. Opportunity.

In Her Own Words
Why I'm Running
I am watching the place I call home become increasingly unaffordable for the people who built it. Families and seniors are struggling to stay, younger generations are questioning whether they can build a future here, and local businesses are being squeezed by rising costs, taxes, and regulations.
I am running for Congress because the Hudson Valley deserves a representative who understands what people here are facing and will put their interests first. I am not a career politician, and I do not owe favors to party bosses or special interests. This is my home, and I know what is at stake.
The Hudson Valley deserves leadership that listens, stands up for our families and small businesses, and brings people together to move our communities forward. I believe we can make our region more affordable, create greater opportunity, strengthen our local economy, and ensure the next generation can build their future right here at home.
I will fight to make this a place people can afford to stay, work, raise a family, build a business, and believe in again.
Jack's Got Your Back!
What Jackie Stands For
Jackie's Big 3
Affordability
Jackie is not a career politician. She is one of us, and she believes leadership means listening, taking responsibility, and bringing people together instead of tearing them apart. Jackie will fight for a government that:
Answers to the people
Supports mental health and community well-being
Remembers the real lives behind every decision
Accountability
Working in the construction business, Jackie sees how rising fuel, insurance, materials, taxes, and payroll costs hit local employers and families. She will fight to:
Cut wasteful spending
Lower taxes and ease the burden on working families
Stop policies that make New York harder to afford
Opportunity
The Hudson Valley deserves more than data centers and empty promises. Jackie supports growth that respects and serves our communities, not outside interests. She will fight for real opportunities:
Good-paying jobs
Safer, stronger communities
Small businesses that can grow and hire
Worker protections in the new AI economy
A Hudson Valley people can love, not leave
Jackie's Journey
Born and Raised in Ulster County
Jackie grew up right here in Kingston, the same streets, schools, and stores she still calls home today. She was raised on the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and showing up for your neighbors.

Earned Her Degree, Came Straight Back
Jackie earned her Marketing degree from the Lutgert College of Business and returned to the Hudson Valley after graduation to build her life and career in the place that shaped her. Alongside her professional work, she is a dedicated advocate for mental health, focused on breaking stigma, expanding access, and supporting the well-being of her community.

Family Business and Real-World Experience
Jackie works in her family's construction business, where she serves as a project manager and managerial accountant. Working in a small business taught her exactly what government gets wrong: too much red tape, too many taxes, and too little concern for the people doing the actual work. She is also a marketing and branding professional. Through her work, she has gained firsthand experience with the challenges facing small businesses, tradesmen, and working families across New York.

Serving Beyond Politics
Jackie is a philanthropist who has been actively involved in charitable, community and civic efforts, as well as political campaigns. She has worked on voter outreach and grassroots organizing long before running for office.

Running for Congress
Jackie is running for Congress in NY-18 not to start a political career, but because the Hudson Valley is becoming too expensive for families to stay. She is committed to restoring affordability, strengthening local economies, and bringing a stronger, more accountable voice to Washington.

Jackie's Foundation
Community First
The Hudson Valley is more than a district on a map. Our towns, our neighbors, and our local businesses deserve a representative who shows up, listens, and delivers.
Healing the Divide
Jackie is committed to helping heal the bitter partisan divide and finding common-sense solutions that serve the people of NY-18, not party bosses.
Results-Driven Leadership
She is not running to launch a political career. She is running to deliver practical outcomes that can be felt at the local level, from lower costs to stronger local economies.
