Auringer Campaign Announces Alexander Mathis as Campaign Manager

KINGSTON, N.Y., May 28, 2026 - Jackie Auringer, candidate for Congress in New York's 18th Congressional District, today announced that Alexander Mathis has joined her campaign as Campaign Manager.

Mathis joins the Auringer campaign after serving as Deputy Campaign Manager for Congressman Mike Lawler's campaign, where he helped oversee day-to-day campaign operations, strategy, and coordination across field, communications, finance, and political teams. He previously worked as a Field Director for the New York Republican State Committee, managing field operations across Rockland, Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess counties.

"Congressman Mike Lawler runs one of the best political operations in the country, and Alex's experience on that team is exactly the kind of talent and discipline we want on this campaign," said Jackie Auringer. "He understands the Hudson Valley, he knows how to organize, and he knows what it takes to connect with voters and deliver results. Mathis also has experience in election administration, having served as a Program Administrator with the Westchester County Board of Elections, and serves in the New York Army National Guard.
