Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis Endorses Jackie Auringer for Congress
Malliotakis: "Jackie has the kind of common-sense experience Washington needs."
KINGSTON, NY - June 16, 2026 — Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) today endorsed Jackie Auringer for Congress in New York's 18th Congressional District, citing Auringer's commitment to lowering costs, supporting working families, and bringing a new generation of strong women leadership to Washington.
"Jackie Auringer is exactly the kind of leader the Hudson Valley needs" said Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis. "She understands that New Yorkers are being crushed by some of the highest taxes in the nation thanks to Kathy Hochul and her tax and spend policies in Albany and the far left progressive policies championed by Hakeem Jeffries and Pat Ryan in Washington."
Malliotakis, who represents Staten Island and southern Brooklyn in Congress, serves on the House Ways and Means Committee and the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee. She also holds the position of Assistant Whip for the House Republican Conference. The Congresswoman cited Auringer's experience in her family's business gives her a real-world understanding of the pressures facing taxpayers, small businesses, workers, and families.
"Jackie is not a career politician. She comes from the real world, where people have to balance budgets, meet payroll, solve problems, and get things done," Malliotakis said. "That is the kind of common-sense experience Washington desperately needs. Jackie will fight to lower costs, rein in reckless spending, protect taxpayers, and make sure government works for the people - not the other way around."
Auringer thanked Malliotakis for her endorsement and praised her as a leading Republican woman in Congress.
"Congresswoman Malliotakis has been a strong voice for New Yorkers, taxpayers, small businesses, and working families," Auringer said. "She has also helped lead the way for Republican women in Congress, showing that strong, principled women can fight, win, and deliver for the communities they serve. I am honored to have her support."
Malliotakis said Auringer represents the next generation of leadership New York needs.
"At a time when so many families are wondering whether they can afford to stay in New York, Jackie is focused on the issues that matter most: affordability, opportunity, public safety, and the future we are leaving for the next generation," Malliotakis said. "She has the energy, the roots, and the determination to give Hudson Valley families the voice they deserve in Washington."
Auringer said her campaign is focused on making life more affordable today while protecting opportunity for the future.
"Families across the Hudson Valley are working harder than ever and still falling behind, and my opponent Pat Ryan is making it harder," Auringer said. "When he had the chance to deliver real affordability relief by ending taxes on tips, reducing the SALT burden, and cutting taxes on Social Security for many seniors, he voted no. I'm running for Congress to lower costs, fight tax increases, and make sure families can afford to stay and build a future here in New York."
Auringer is running for Congress in New York's 18th Congressional District.
