Happy 4th of July!

Happy 250th America!!!! Oh how I love to celebrate you!!! I spent the 4th in my stomping grounds throughout Ulster County. We started the day walking the Saugerties parade with the Hudson Valley National Center for Veteran Reintegration. Our Humvee kept stalling out in the heat but every time it stopped, people came out of the crowd to help us push. It was such a simple, powerful reminder of what community looks like. We ended the night down on the strand, catching up with friends at The Cornell fireworks viewing party. There’s nothing like celebrating America right here at home!! And a special shoutout to the local small businesses that helped make the night possible and sponsored Kingston’s fireworks: The Cornell Restaurant + Bar, Brickmen Kitchen & Bar, and O’Connor & Partners, PLLC.
